Shipping, Freshness & FAQ
Straight answers about how we bake, pack and ship. If yours isn't here, email orders@pinchoftexas.com and a real person in Dallas will write back.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
$5 flat, anywhere in the US. Free on orders of $60 or more. No weight tiers, no surprises at checkout. Every package ships USPS with tracking, emailed to you the moment it leaves the kitchen.
Can I pick up in Dallas?
Yes — choose Pickup at checkout and shipping drops to zero. We'll email you when your order is baked and ready, usually within two business days, with the address and hours.
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States. We can't ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses, so please use a street address.
How long does it take?
We bake to order, so allow 1–2 business days for us to make your brownies, then 2–3 business days in transit — coast to coast. Orders placed after noon Central or on a weekend start the next business day.
Can I ship to someone else as a gift?
Yes — just enter their address at checkout. Everything ships from our Dallas kitchen with no pricing inside the box. If you'd like a note included, leave it in the order comments.
Do you ship in hot weather?
We do. Brownies travel far better than you'd expect; they're dense and individually wrapped. In peak summer we ship early in the week so nothing sits in a warehouse over the weekend.
Freshness & storage
How long do the brownies stay fresh?
Seven days at room temperature, in their wrappers. They'll freeze for up to three months — thaw at room temperature for about an hour. Honestly, they rarely last that long.
Are they really baked to order?
Every order. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be sold. That's why there's a short bake time before shipping, and why the first bite tastes the way it does.
How should I store the salt blends?
Sealed, cool and dry, like any good spice. The jars are refillable; the refill bags are the same blend in a lighter package.
Allergens & ingredients
Do your brownies contain nuts?
The Texas Praline Brownie is built on Texas pecans. Lonestar Chocolate, Cowboy Cream Swirl and Peppermint Bliss are made without nuts, but all of our brownies are baked in a kitchen that handles tree nuts and soy. Each product page lists its full ingredients and allergens.
Are the salt blends gluten-free?
Our blends are salt, herbs and spices — no flour, no fillers. They're produced in the same kitchen as our brownies, so we can't call them certified gluten-free.
Catering & events
Can you cater my event?
Yes — Pinch of Texas started as a Dallas catering kitchen, and that's still where we're happiest. Brownies and cookies can be packaged individually, boxed in threes, or plated for the table. Every event is quoted on its own, so email orders@pinchoftexas.com with your date, headcount and what you have in mind, and Momma will get back to you.
What about corporate or holiday gifts for a group?
Our gift boxes are built for it. For a team, a client list or an event, reach out at orders@pinchoftexas.com and we'll put together an approach that fits.
Returns & problems
Something arrived damaged or wrong.
Email us within three days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund.
Can I return brownies?
Because they're fresh and perishable, we can't take them back — but if they aren't right, tell us and we'll fix it. Unopened salt blends can be returned within 14 days; you cover return shipping.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If we haven't started baking, yes. Email as soon as you can. Once an order is in the oven or on its way, it can't be changed.
My package is late or lost.
Check the USPS tracking link in your shipping email first; most delays resolve within a day. If it's truly gone, email us and we'll help sort it out.
